Commission to help resolve overseas Pakistanis issues

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that setting up of Overseas Pakistanis Commission in Punjab is another revolutionary step of the Punjab government.

 

He said Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab would play an important role in resolving the problems of the overseas Pakistanis. He said the government had given a constitutional cover to the Commission and it would be extended all-out support by the Punjab government and he would personally monitor the Commission.

Addressing the first meeting of Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab, here Tuesday, the chief minister said the overseas Pakistanis were the ambassadors of the country and Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab had been set up for resolving their problems. He said the Commission had been empowered to immediately redress the complaints of the Pakistanis living in the Middle East, Europe, America and other countries. He said the Commission would take effective steps for addressing the complaints of overseas Pakistanis. He directed that commission should work with national spirit and spare no effort for resolving the problems of Pakistanis living abroad. He said that committees would be set up at every district while advisory councils comprising overseas Pakistanis would also be constituted. He said the persons having good repute should be included in the district committees. He said overseas Pakistanis could also get their complaints registered online and he would personally monitor the efficiency of the Commission and the steps taken to resolve their problems. He said immediate action would be taken on the complaints of the overseas Pakistanis.

 

The chief minister congratulated Vice-Chairperson Shaheen Khalid Butt and Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti on assuming their offices. Commissioner Overseas Pakistanis Commission Afzaal Bhatti assured the chief minister that Commission would work in accordance with his vision and try to come up to his expectations.

 

Provincial Minister for Women Development Hameeda Waheed-ud-Din, Vice-Chairperson Overseas Pakistanis Commission Shaheen Khalid Butt, MPAs Mian Tariq, Manshaullah Butt, Rana Liaqat Ali, additional chief secretary, inspector general police, senior member Board of Revenue, chairman Planning and Development, secretaries and senior officials concerned attended the meeting. Commissioner Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab Afzaal Bhatti gave a detailed briefing on the aims and objectives of the Commission.

 

Consensus: Shahbaz Sharif has said that national consensus on tackling effectively terrorism is a good omen and that Pakistan is in a state of war and the existing situation demands extraordinary measures.

 

He said Pakistan could be made a strong and prosperous country only through eradication of terrorism and that every member of society would have to play an active role for rooting out the menace of terrorism as the wars were won with national unity and support of the masses.

 

Talking to assembly members of various districts who called on him, here Tuesday, The chief minister said elimination of terrorism was essential for survival, stability and progress of the country besides ensuring a safe future for the coming generations.

 

amendment: Shahbaz Sharif has said that National Assembly has performed a great national obligation by unanimously approving 21st Constitutional amendment.

 

He said parliamentarians had proved that they were fully aware of people’s problems and the critical nature of situation. He said extraordinary measures were needed in extraordinary situation. He said national leadership had given the message of exemplary unity and consensus in the war against terror.

      If you got time look at this complaint and see what good you are doing for overseas.Count less effort has been made to resolve the matter.God know how many calls and email send to overseas commissioner office. I can see OPF got 15 houses possession they all must related concerning officers or heavily bribe.nothing but MYTH.

  1. I am waiting to resolve my complaint no 1612 from Aug 2015. Where as patwari accepted mistake in fake documentation of land before decision of local court. No one giving response . I want direct mob no of Chief Minister Punjab. Can any one help in this regard. Because the exective authorties at Tehsil And District Chakwal level not replying to my call.
    so I think this is just fraud with overseases pakistanis

  4. No one from Tehsil and District Chakwal management replying to my call on their provided mob no on internetregarding my complaint no 1612 in overseases pakistanis commissioner .please provide me mobile contact of CM Punjab. So I can tell him how the district management dealing with me.

      I am sorry to say absolute rubbish service. Overseas foundation, Overseas commissner office all waste of tax payer money.I am British citizen, own very established business here. After forty years in this country decided to do some investment in my country. Bought house in Lahore and plan to established Dairy farm with latest technology. First thing i face was personal and property security problems. I have been told i should have to obtain permitted fire arm licence.I seek advice from overseas foundation Gulberg .They advice me to submit fire arm application to DCO Sialkot.on 12.03.2015 i submitted my applications to DCO Sialkot Re 192A, 193A. It took six month to get police report from Daska police station. Amazing service…………………..After that i came back London. Count less calls and email send to Overseas foundation Gulberg Lahore and DCO Sialkot After about five month i have been told that DCO have got no power to issue licence. Again surprisingly DCO took five month to decide whether he got power are not…… Then i have been adviced by Overseas foundation to get in touch with overseas commissioner. After few calls to overseas commisoner office they told me Mr Aqeel Deputy director can do some thing.you can check how many email send to him.Every time i rang common excuse computer is down, concerning officer is gone for prayer or SAHIB got day off.This is good governess? As true Pakistani i want my highly educated children do some thing for my country, but…………..I am pretty sure no one bother to reed or answer this email

    My complaint no 1612 still pending for more than one yrs . Our All organisations and administrative unit are favouring the powerful people.Repeteadly CM directives that solve the problems of overseases pakistani within 3 months but no one obeying that and only resolving the problem of those who are politically and militarily powerful.

    My complaint still unresolved after the acceptance of mistakes in land record before decision of local court by patwari in front DCO Chakwal.
