Overseas Pakistani Foundation (OPF) has set up Facilitation Centre for Overseas Pakistanis (FCOP) in Jhelum to receive complaints from Overseas Pakistanis to redress their issues.
An official source on Monday told APP, that FCOP Centre received 310 complaints from abroad in a year and most of the grievances were regarding revenue and Police.
He said that cell was established at the office of District Coordination Officer last year to redress the grievances of Overseas Pakistanis, hailing from Jhelum District.
All Pakistanis who are living abroad may lodge their complaints pertaining to all government departments (federal, provincial and district) of District Jhelum.
Jhelum DCO personally pursues all the complaints and their outcome and share with the Overseas Pakistanis within 48 hours. All complaints received in this Cell are forwarded to Focal Person of the concerned Departments for report within 24 hours through Email and thereafter the report proper examined by the experts on the subject for finding a resolution/solution on genuine complaints. After proper scrutiny, the outcome is shared with the complainant within 48 hours.
He said that in case any criminal liability established, the matter will be referred to Police/Anti-Corruption Establishment/NAB.
